Sprout Day 168 (Sunday, September 11th, 2016)

Today was our second day on the trail heading south and we hiked almost 14 miles. We got a later start than normal because we were up hanging out with Porterhouse all night. It feels surreal to be heading south and still being on the same trail, the Appalachian Trail is mighty.

Trying to get situated on the way down to flop.

Relaxing at Porterhouse's house1

There's Whiskers!

Stick Bug

Cabin Ruins,- Chimney, mile 857.8

Small Cemetery
We are in bear country!

Taking a rest at Paul C. Wolfe Shelter
Memorial for a fellow hiker
