Sprout Day 115 (Wednesday, July 20th, 2016)

Today was one of the best days on trail. Everyday through the Whites has been absolutely amazing. It's so beautiful here and it feels so great to be here experiencing this and seeing it with my own eyes.

To start off I want to say how last night ended. It was one of the best sunsets we’ve seen on the trail. It was cloudy when we went to bed but right before the sun completely set we got the best view. There were so many different colors.

It got really cold last night too. We found out from the hut that the temp got down into the 20s with wind chill! It took us longer than expected to get going today because it was so cold and the sleeping bag was warm!

We went over Eisenhower and Monroe right before we summited Mount Washington. The wind on Eisenhower and Monroe was strong so we were excited to see how Mt. Washington was going to be. It was crazy, all three summits were crazy! We went over Mount Clay after Washington.

Tonight we are stealth camping between Mount Clay and Jefferson and have to leave before anyone comes down the trail in the morning.
