Smudgy Cheeks Day 66 (Wednesday, June 1st, 2016)

I hiked 12.3 miles today.  I got up the earliest I have on the trail so far, at 4:15 a.m.!  I was out of camp by 5:00 and going on only four hours of sleep.  It's too hot to hike during mid-day so I would rather get up early and miss that.  It was a difficult hiking day because I put in a lot of miles.

Now I'm at the campsite.  I'm relaxing because I had a huge lunch and I'm very tired now.  Connecticut scenery is very beautiful but the trail is physical!
