Today we hiked from Forest Road (Route 10) to Greenwall Shelter. It was not a bad hike and we ran into a few South Bounders. They were helpful because they were able to offer advice about the Whites up in New Hampshire. Everyone in our group is worried about hiking through the Whites!
On the hike we saw different stone gardens and also spruce trees. Bubbles taught me how to filter my water and how to cook on my stove. I made Roman Noodles and mashed potatoes for dinner.
I'm looking forward to day 2.
