Today was one of the best days on the trail. We went over Lehigh Gap which was one of the scariest parts of the trail so far. We had to rock climb over sections of the trail. We have been keeping Lehigh Gap in the back of our minds as a major challenge ahead of us. Everyone knows this is one of the craziest sections of the AT in Pennsylvania. It felt good to accomplish that goal.
Yesterday we called a guy named Mechanical Man. He lets hikers stay at his house in his garage for $10 a night. We didn't know what to expect but have heard he is a nice guy and likes to talk. Those are both true statements, he is so nice and takes care of hikers. We had a great evening sitting around listening to great music!
