I hiked 13 miles to the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center. You can actually pay for a room here, which costs money, or they allow thru hikers to stay in their ballpark picnic shelter for free! It has water, a privy, and a solar shower. The water was way too cold to take a shower though. I'll wait for warm water and stay stinky.
The hike today was incredibly awesome. First, I got to walk through a zoo!!! You have to plan this out just right or the zoo will be closed and you have to blue blaze (take an alternate route) around the zoo. I got there during their opening hours and got to go through for free (thru-hikers get in for free!) The lowest point on the entire Appalachian Trail is in the zoo in front of the bear cage.
Now that I'm at the pavilion I'm going to relax for the rest of the day.
