I hiked 14 miles today to William Penn Shelter. It was mostly rocky and foggy but beautiful. I've never hiked in the fog before and it was quite an experience. I couldn't see the bottom of the mountain which was so weird. Now I'm at camp and very tired.
Makes you wonder how this is part of the rocks |
Sometimes there are signs pointing to the nearest town. Lickdale, PA is 2.3 miles up the trail. |
It's so wet today. I am wearing my boots and they are getting muddy. |
The fog made for a beautiful, peaceful, setting. I'm happy we weren't on cliffs today though! |

It was hard to walk over these trees when it was wet and slippery! |
