Smudgy Cheeks Day 28 (Sunday, April 24, 2016) 186.3 miles total

I started back up on the trail today and hiked eight miles.  It was a beautiful rocky hike.  I passed a little creek that had the smallest foot bridge!  We hiked through a rock maze which is rocks on top of the mountain.   You have to challenge yourself to climb up and down the rocks.  As we were at the end of our hike the sun was setting.  We finished the by night hiking into the shelter.  I used my flashlight to help me see while I was setting up my tent.  It feels great to be back on the trail!!

Here is my plan.  I'll be hiking with Bubbles and Sprout up to Katahdin.  When we flip flop down south I'll be dropped off where we started hiking today.  I'll continue to hike the 60 miles that I didn't complete with Bubbles and Sprout.  Then I'll get another ride down to where we started our hike back in March.  I'm going to hike a few extra days each night and will hopefully be able to catch up with them so we can finish together.
